It’s a story of a charming, humorous, and creative woman from South Brooklyn who has three challenging conditions: she’s an immigrant, she has cerebral palsy, and she has big dreams. The journey of her determination, breakdowns, and hopes is an emotional rollercoaster with a powerful life affirming message for us all.

WHO WE ARE 

Vika Gorelik/Victoria (Lead) is a Ukraine born artist who has cerebral palsy and now resides in New York City. Despite her  disorder she’s earned (3) bachelor degrees in business, management, and liberal arts. In 2016, she founded the non-profit  organization ParaArts Foundation, Inc. Their mission is to develop a platform for the personal growth of physically challenged  people. From 2013 to 2017, her organization launched annual fundraisers in South Brooklyn gathering artists, musicians, and  poets including those with physical limitations. In 2014, Vika along with 8 volunteers (adults and children) performed in a  theatrical production based on her poems and directed by musician Inna Zozulya. In 2018, she published a book of her poems  in Russian. She has also received certificates of achievements from New York City and New York State and was featured in  Russian-American media.

Julia Aldana (Director/Writer) is a Russian born director and writer currently residing in New York City. She is a graduate of  Moscow State University and previously worked as a journalist and political observer for major national newspapers and  magazines in her home country. Julia has created a number of short films. Her most recent, “Lilith’s Song”, was a Manhattan  International Film Festival and Hoboken International Film Festival selection. The film also won first place in the SciFi/ Fantasy category at New York Women In Film & Television/GoIndieTV 2nd annual online film festival. Fall 2020, her first  theatrical piece “Shall We Dance” (dramatic pantomime) was selected for the Porch Play Project at Snug Harbor Cultural  Center. Her current project and script “I Want To Hear My Voice” is a NYWIFT New Work’s Lab Showcase finalist.

Wyonna Rutledge (Co-Producer) is a producer and writer based in New York. Graduate of CUNY Hunter College’s Media/ Film program, she has worked in entertainment since 2004 in various positions and mediums. She has credits on award winning  films, short “Tolerance”, Dir. Marc I. Daniels and documentaries “My Brooklyn” and “Never Enough”, Dir. Kelly Anderson.  Her first solo produced short film “It’s Time”, is currently making its round on the festival circuit, recently winning a Best Shorts  Competition award and selected by The Film Collective for it’s Pennsylvania premiere. She’s developing her next comedic  narrative short, “GLAMMA”

  1. What i don’t understood is in truth how you are not actually much more smartly-appreciated than you might be right now. You are very intelligent. You realize thus considerably in relation to this subject, made me in my view imagine it from so many varied angles. Its like men and women are not interested except it?¦s something to accomplish with Lady gaga! Your individual stuffs excellent. All the time care for it up!
